FOCAS meets from January to June and September to November. Meetings are held on the third Thursday in the spring and fall from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at CHANGE, Inc in Westminster. Unless otherwise indicated, monthly meetings are open to all families of children with autism and those who serve them and generally feature a speakers and/or the sharing of relevant information. Free childcare provided by trained respite workers at meeting when arranged in advance by 3 PM on Tuesday before the meeting. The group also offers resource lists, guest speakers, and social gatherings.

This statewide group meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Hospital, Auditorium I, in Silver Spring. Through a Family NET Works support grant, FIAT will conduct an outreach campaign to families throughout the state regarding the benefits of intensive Applied Behavioral Analysis programs for young children with autism.
